ソルトミスト、サイクリック
塩ミスト(スプレー)の変化する気候にさらされ、続いて高温で高湿度にさらされた場合、コンポーネントまたは機器の腐食に対する相対耐性をテストするために使用できます。
試験片は密閉されたチャンバー(一般に別のソルトミストチャンバーと制御された湿度チャンバーが使用される)に入れられ、次の2つの部分からなる繰り返しサイクルからなる変化する気候にさらされる。 中性(pH 6.5~7.2)の塩水溶液の連続間接スプレーに2.0時間暴露し、1.0~2.0ml/80cm²/時間の速度で試料に落下し、チャンバー温度+15~+35Cで2.0時間暴露。 これに続いて、+40Cのチャンバー温度で、93%RHの高湿度気候に7日間または20〜22時間(試験の重症度に応じて)さらされます。 サイクルの繰り返し回数は、テストの重大度に応じて変動します。
