水霧装置を用いた塗膜の耐水性試験
ASTM B117の塩水噴霧試験に使用されたのと同様の装置を使用して、コーティングされた試料を高温で水霧にさらすことによってコーティングの耐水性を試験するために使用することができる。
試験片は、ASTM B117の装置要件を満たす密閉チャンバーに入れられます。 ここでは、連続的な間接スプレー水にさらされ、+ 38Cのチャンバー温度で1.5〜3.0ml / 80cm² /時間の速度で試料に落下します。 この気候は一定の定常状態条件下で維持されます。 テスト期間は可変です。
